Ok, so;
Try to fully remove Mozilla Firefox. (Delete via the uninstall, and delete every folder)
Then reinstall it, and then wait.
If it doesnt work, delete it, and forget about Mozilla Firefox.

Either install Opera, or Internet Explorer 7.
They both have the 'tab' funtion.

I suggest you to use Opera, just because i do also.

I hope i helped you out of your sh**,

Robin.

If you need to uninstall IE7.

It's not in your Add/Remove Programs.
It's in Add/Remove Window Components.
if not then what other kind of browser has tabs?
Opera also has tabs, and quite a few useful widgets.

First you shouldn't uninstall any versions of IE you should
    a) keep the one you have
    b) upgrade to a new one
because to many programs use a IE renderer and Microsoft made Windows almost impossible to use if you delete IE.
For Firefox, what version are you trying to use? you could try using an newer version, or ultimately a older version.
