Woah, going 2k post yet you doesn't know ASM. Sorry I'm not being sarcastic but I'm surprised.

This is a good one in CEF,
A Very In Depth Tutorial on Auto Assembler

There are other good tutorials too, but it's from other forum so I don't wanna post it up here.

Anyway, I'm still learning ASM too, my tips is that don't just look up on one tutorial, read up at least 2 tutorials. Because some tutorial explanation is easier than another tutorial to you.

Hope that helps.

It depends?
Some people absorb it fast and some are slow.

Can you give me an estimate of how quick a 13 year old could learn it?

I don't know, but it's good to start at young age. I'm more concentrate now on Auto Assembler (AA), anyway.. I still can't figure out what's the different between ASM and AA. Rolling Eyes

AA is just for CE. ASM is a language used in many things.

It is.

http://www.harding.edu/fmccown/vbnet_csharp_comparison.html

that's harder? Personally it looks more streamlined and clean to me.

Maybe if you work with it for more than a half a day, you might learn enough so it won't be hard. Do you expect these things to come to you instantly?

What do you even want to write that is so hard?

I can't find any good guides, that msdn one you posted didn't explain it very well to beginners.

@OP, it just takes some determination. Put some effort into it, and you'll learn it in no time.

@hacker

The difference is that ASM is a way to make real applications. AA is a away to easily inject an array (if you will) of commands into a process easily.

To put it simply:

ASM - make real programs
AA - hack games

I picked up C# instantly from VB (Which I'm not proud of learning Rolling Eyes.) It is really the same thing, just using some extra characters which are used a lot in C.
