I wouldnt mide a duplacateing hack it sound nice for games like wow guild wars and rune scape and so on. I herd it is inpossable to make one and some peaple say its not why dont you crate one and broadcast it on this site makeing it usefull for all these struggling gamers....

I cant tell the difference between runescape and guildwars. I totally see it as EXACTLY that same. and duping in RS has been for years now just download a keylogger and your set!

For those that want more background, duping is usually accomplished when transferring items in such a manner that a copy of the item is created. I will attempt to explain in general how this can be accomplished. as always the exact method ( and remote possibility) varies depending on the game. Also it should be noted that server based games (MMO's and the like are programmed in such a manner that is very hard and or impossible to cause a dupe to occur outside of a bug in the code. peer games (Diablo, sacred, etc...) and single player games are more easily fooled.

info:
generally speaking duping is an exploit of how an item is moved from container to container and involves some method of deception which results in the item not being removed from the source container. therefore you end up two of the item one remains in the source, the other in the destination. If gold is treated as an item, or can otherwise be dropped / traded between players.

Simple example:
Game: Diablo
ok, so every one should know that most versions Diablo (I cant attest for the current version) can rather easily dupe items. This could be accomplished by performing certain actions quickly enough.

setup: a game is created an to players are in it. Player A and Player B, player B in this example is only used to keep the game open so that Player A can make mischief otherwise Player B does nothing

1)Player Drops an Item in game
2)Player leaves in such a manner that his character is not saved (originally by dropping their connection, later by having the OS kill the game)
3)Player rejoins game (character is reloaded from last save which was before item was dropped

result: Item is now on the ground in the game and in Player A's inventory. There are now two copies of the item and it can be collected or what ever else you want to do with it.

problems with this method: new patches (newer games) have become wise to this method and implement methods to prevent this from happening. they have included: assigning items unique numbers, when a duplicate is found one is deleted; increasing the rate at which character files are written, and or when they are written as to mitigate the ability of the character file to be out of sync with the rest of the world.


Theoretical and better example:
it would be possible in most single or peer games that you can simple mangle the code that removes an item from a container in such a way that
1) items and or stacks, will never be removed from inventory
2) items can be continently picked up

this may require simply require the modification of the code that removes items from your inventory so that it dosent. It may require a lot more, again in theory this is easy.

problems: the biggest problem with this method is that it is very difficult to find items in your inventory with CE let alone the routines that move them.


Server based games:
usually in server based games character data as well as the world data is controlled directly by the client and the client is merely displaying the results to the user. this makes it especially hard to fool the system with the simple example, and makes it downright near impossible to fool it with the theoretical example in that if you get it to work, you may show that you have the item, but the server knows you dont and when you try to use it, it will fail because it says you dont have it.
