| Highly doubt it. You are modifying memory that belongs to you. Software companies have tried to sue hackers using memory editing and as far as I know have failed each time because of this reason.

You cannot edit their server with Cheat Engine, because it is a memory editor and not some all powerful tool that alot of people think it is (granted, it is pretty damn sweet).

but seriosly, CE is not illegal, but what you do can be.
E.g writing a assembler script that ends up packet floodign the server till it crashes, yes, that's illegal.
But simple stuff like editing your money, and the server is so stupid to actually believe that you have as much money as the client tells it, then not really. (unless it's a bank, or a official legal instance)

Using CE aint illegal but if you get caught ingame with speedhack or etc then you will be banned

You can do that O_O???
I never knew that was possible, i always used a packet editor to crash something O_O.

Also, when you speed attack and stuff you are sending attack packets to the server faster also. That is how alot of games detect speed hacking.
