Cheat Engine

so i've been getting more experienced with hacking neopets ( flash games) and i get a score then i search double at the end when i want to send the score and change it. But when i find my score , no matter wot type (default,extreme or truncated) i can't get it to stay the value i change it too ><. even when i freeze it it either doesn't freeze at all or the game crashes. i've been able to do this on only one game so far but all the others r just BANG.

Can any expert explain this plz?

something must be writing to it very often. Find out what and NOP it.

yeah, but that requeres a lot more knowledge than just selecting the command and clicking "replace with code that does nothing"
