It should be possible to make a linux equivalent, but I'm not sure it'll work on the xbox.
I don't know anything about linux on xbox. Can you run xbox games on a xbox running linux or only linux apps ? And if it does run games, is it possible to switch tasks when the game is executing? Is there a way to get access to ring0 or is it already running that? If task switching isn't possible is it possible to manipulate the interrupt descriptor table so you can break the cpu on a certain intrupt and execute your code from there? (like ce 5.0 will do with debug int 1) etc... etc...

It should be possible. The client/server of CE works kinda the same, the frontend on the other pc and the scanning routines on the server. (so in this case the xbox)
But I doubt I'll be able to do it: I don't have a xbox, and not much experience with the debugging tools of Linux(I could write a int1-hook...). Perhaps WINE and the server version of cheat engine ?

If CE were written in C or C++, then it would be entirely possible to port it to linux. (with a little work)

| The XBox does NOT allow multiple processes at once. You could only "add" something if you put it in the bios. This is sort of a pain in the ass if you ask me, furthermore you'd have to make sure that it's not more than 3/4mb or else it will most likely not fit on any modchips (1/4MB is used up by the actual bios), but I guess that's not the real problem. For a task like this, you need somebody with much skills in the XDK, and unless the openXDK is advanced far enough you also need illegal copies of the xbox development kit. This is nothing but a stupid idea if you ask me.
