Your ignorance on the subject stuns me. Who gives a shit about how much RAM the IDE uses? What matters is the overhead the compiler generates because of the language used. VB apps have more overhead than Delphi apps.


I'd say VB is better documented and it's obviously easier to learn. If you want to speed up your apps your going to move to C, not delphi.


I almost exclusively use C, I was just presenting Delphi as an alternative to Vb as a RAD language.
