Can anyone tell me how to find the value of items in a game? I tried searching unknown, then changing the item and searching changed, but I keep getting a lot of results. How can I do it?

You have to keep doing that over and over again, and sometimes you have to guess and check values. Also, make your searches more specific, such as using greater than instead of changed.

Okay but how do I know if the value is greater? Also, what value type should I be using? I used double for all the other values I found in this game.

Ok, say you have health bar, and you have a certain amount of health but you don't know the exact number. Search unknown initial value, get hit then search decreased value, and then get hit again and repeat.

As for the scanning types: For post PC games, you will be scanning for 4 byte/float values. For Flash 8/9 games scan on 4 byte and multiply each value by 8, for Flash 7> scan on double. Again, this is hacking, so alot of it is guess and check.

Just keep in mind: If you are searching for a value that has a decimal point, you should be searching in Float/Double.

Ah, I thought you were using item as a general term for a value. Try scanning for unknown values, then swiching the item to a different slot and put a new one in there, repeat. Remember, you can leave the item in there for 2 scans in a row, just select unchanged value. It tends to get rid of alot of useless addresses.
