you know when you open a fullscreen applicaton, msn changes status to busy?

how's that done? by that I mean...
- how msn knows something's gone fullscreen
- how some app lets msn know its gone fullscreen, if that's how it works

I think msn hooks into all your programs when they open to check if they fullscreen. Then if they find that it is it tells the server that your busy? Idk.

It can probably be easy to get rid of with CE, but I have absolutely no idea of how they do it. :/ Keep me updated on this aswell.

app tells msn about a busy status?

MSN injects itself into other processes to get their status'.
