Hey guys,

Here's somewhat a theory/idea towards hacking this game.
As people who have tried to hack this game, we know that the stats, gold, hp, etc are all server side. i.e. we can't edit it.

HOWEVER, what do you guys think about dmg calculations.
There is a skill in this game called "conch" which is a magic skill based on your magic stat, your "spirit". After playing the game alot, ive worked out that for each "spirit" point you have, the "conch" skill does roughly an extra 8.4 dmg. When you attack however, it is rounded up/down to nearest whole number.

As you can see, the 8.4 is somewhat a multiplier and i assume (and hope) it is a client side calculation, i.e. there's some sorta function which reads the spr stat, multiplies it by roughtly 8.4 and sends it to the server for it to register as the dmg you do.

Anyone got any ideas or would like to help me in this? I'm not too good at understanding hexidecimal stuff unfortunately.

might be a good idea.. all i got in tales of pirates was botting either to get money (like 1 mi per 3 days or so..) or XP.. quit at lvl 45+ less than 50 i guess..

So cheat engine could be used to find this value and change client sided? What about packeting the new value. It sounds very possible, u could change the multipier and get 10k damage from a conch. WOW

I made a script that healed you to full health each time u healed, don't know what happened to it though. It was a while ago.
Edit- It was screwy n all but it healed you and you kept the healed hp so it was ok I spose Very Happy

Actually, from what I calculated, the multiplier is about 14.2, so for every Spr point adds an extra 14.2 damage. Thats just what I found, but if I am missing something here correct me and hopefully we can find this multiplier so that conch can do 10k damage. Twisted Evil
