| Notepad++ is one of those programs that you won't like unless you endlessly tweak the configurations until it's comfortable, I don't like it for that reason. I especially don't like how it re-opens all the files you opened before closing the next time you start it up. This is NOT behavior you come to expect from notepad. |

I love Notepad++, great tool. Been using it for a while. Like any other program, it takes time to get used to, and everything is configurable.
As for disabling reopening of documents from a previous session:
Goto Settings -> Preferences, click the MISC tab, uncheck 'Remember the current session for next launch'.
Not that hard to disable. |

Do I recall correctly if I say that Notepad++ doesn't support intellisense/anything similar without tweaking a lot?
I think that was the reason why I didn't start using Notepad++. I know, I'm lazy :D |

Yes it does, it's not fully complete like in an IDE for programming (since you shouldn't be using Notepad++ for an alternative from an IDE..) but it does have a small amount of things.
To access the intellisense, just tap CTRL+SPACE. |
