Could you possibly run a bruteforcer using a list of frequently used variable names such as points, score, etc.. by running a while loop that concatenates the list words using the getVariable function and saving the results for later to check if it matches the value or string you are looking for?

Or is this idea stupid, or inefficient.

inefficient, but you can still do it...

what you need is an array of probably a billion indices e.g.

dim myVarName(100000000000000000000) as something
dim myVarVal(100000000000000000000) as something
dim I as long

for i=0 to 1000000000000000000000000000.... step 1
'generate a variable name using the bruteforce method. do this yourself
myVarName(i)=bruteforceval(i)
myVarVal(i)=ShockwaveFlash1.GetVariable(myVarName(i))
if len(myVarVal(i))>0 then
'do stuff
end if
doevents
next

this is a gay way... bruteforceval is like how you bruteforceval(0)=A, bruteforceval(26)=Z and bruteforceval(27)=AA, etc.

i can get a highscore in <2 seconds
