is ASM part of visual basic? if i learn VB will that also teach stuff about ASM? Because i picked computer science in my school an we will be learning vb the whole year, and i dont want to have to take it if i wont learn any ASM.

ASM=assembly - low programming language, 32bit or something.

Learning one programming language will mkae it easier to leanr another one. So you should take it...

High level languages can incorporate ASM. For example VC++... the __asm line. BTW VB sucks.
