How would I go about finding the address/code that tells the monsters to spawn and where they spawn (If it's random where they spawn, between say 0 and 150[Just an example])? I'm just after a general way that might work for me, I'm not giving the game and information because I don't want too detailed answers. Just some general stuff would be awesome . The reason I'm after this is bcause I want to try inputting my characters co-ords into this to create a vac. The way I'm hoping for is say the 'random' co-ord of where the monster will spawn is stored in eax, I could store my charatcer co-ords in ebx and replace eax with ebx. Would this work or would it fail? If it would fail how could I change it to make it more succesful?
Thanks.
first you need to have good common sense/logic. Then scan for values using the scan functions... when you find crap you should be able to find what accesses that pointer or whatever and then dump registers to check what it is really doing... with that knowledge you should be able to create a vacuum or whatever you want.
you can never be sure which register holds what. so dont let that predefined registers for all coordinate crap cloud your mind. _________________
kk thanks, thats really confusing and not much detail, I don't understand it.
It's perfect, I'm actually going to have to concentrate with this
+rep for helping and making me think
