Cheat Engine

My uncle want me to hack a game named legend of mir(chinese version). So I started with a buffy engine that has process watcher, I hooked the CE on mir.dat and I started to scan for money adress and stuff. I was able to freez the value and change my money to w/e I want but after I drop 100$ the value in the game turns back down >.<'' My uncle called his tech friend over to see how to fix this, he said that I was only able to change the data on this computer but the game server didn't receive this change on the character. This reminds me of the cloth hack in maple story, which you can wear any kind of cloth but only you can see it. My question is how do you sent this fake information to the server? Do I need a .cem file? I am a newbie and thanks for your time.

Packet editing. All you're doing with memory editing is fooling the client, the server knows what's really up.

So I need wpe? What about god mode? If I found godmode would it still be client side?

Is CE only for client side hacks? Does WPE hack server side? or both?

Yes, ce is only client sided, wpe manipulates the packets you recieve and send. So if you die it will send a packet to the server saying your dead, with wpe pro you can find that packet and edit it. I think
