Cheat Engine

Hi everyone,

Im new, because i just registered,

I donwloaded Cheat Engine, to try to cheat a game (Jedi Knight 2), i did the tutorial, i can say im pretty impressed what this program can do, but then i decided to try it the Multiplayer mode of Jedi Knight 2,

Then the problem starts, when i try to search a value, CheatEngine tells that Could not find a way to cancel the search, so it thinks the Search don't even started, i've tried many times, and it gives me that error,

Sometimes it scans, but retrieves no addresses (It says it found 70 for example but show none), and then again it shows the error dialog above explained..

If someone could help me out, and tell me why it's happening that, i would thank it..

And if u can't help me, i would like to say that, this program it's very good, congrats to the ppl who made it.

Not entirely certain here, but I usually get that error when I am trying to scan a process that doesn't exist. Under the settings (top left) you can tell the program how many results you wish to display (it does have your addresses, it merely isn't displaying them). Maybe the main program launces another process for the multiplayer?

And yes, this is perhaps the most advanced Memory injection/scanner (forgive me if that is incorrect) tool that I have used...There a lot of 'noob' ones out there with very limited options (usually set to only scan for 4 byte).

^, But also if you scan, and get an adress, but then close it and dont change the window( top left hand corner) it will get that error.
