I am trying to find the health address for the game/engine called Cube. It has been done before and the trainer is available in this topic. But there is a problem with that one. Sometimes you still die, which I believe is due to weapons that kill you with one shot/instantly. It seems like the trainer maker froze the value instead of nopping the line where the health is decreased. On games where I froze ammo values, I would shoot one bullet and see the ammo decrease for a split second, then it would go back to full again. I assume you die because you're "reported" as dead before the health has time to increase again.
So I figured I could just find the value myself, and instead of freezing the value I would just stop it from being decreased. I have done it before on other games and it's not that hard. But I can't even find the health address. I have tried every value type, and for scan type I have tried "exact value" and "unknown initial value." Upon clicking next scan, I have tried tried "exact value," "changed value," "increased value," and "decreased value." I would change the health value by using the rocket launcher to hurt myself, and health packs to put my health up.
I am a confused newbie. I tried this long ago and had the same problem.

For some reason that did not work. (I am using trainer maker kit)
The health still decreases.

| what cube are u using? and did you make 2 seperate buttons for ON and OFF?

I am running the latest release of Cube 1, from August 29 2005 (the install file is labeled cube_2005_08_29_win32.exe). Yes, they are two separate buttons.
On the cube site there is a newer version with enhanced graphics and stuff called Cube 2 / Sauerbraten, but I am not using this. Did you use Cube 2 for this cheat?

Ok nicholas i made a trainer for cube 1 , fixed the health hack works perfectly now will increase health to 2000 and keep it there. i also added a select weapon feature, so u can get any weapon you wish on any map weither the weapon is available on that map or not  , Ammo hack will freeze your ammo also ,and when you choose a weap with the trainer it will automatically add 500 ammo to the weapon also
EDIT - added Random teleport feature, which will randomly teleport you to places on the map i did not perfect it so u may go way up into the sky and not able to see a thing, cool thing about it is most of the time u will spawn on the map or else in the walls able to shoot out and kill people without them being able to see you or shoot you.

Sorry for any confusion. Until recently (I do not know when this started), Sauerbraten has never been listed on the site as Cube2 when you go to download, but after I noticed this I realized you may have done what any smart person would do and downloaded the latest version. They are quite different in many ways, and I probably should have mentioned what to download specifically.

I do not know how or why you did all this. I have not advanced to anything past basic things like unlimited ammo or health, and would be interested to know how other things are done. But this is very cool, so thank you.
[Okay, I am having problems. Nothing in the trainer is working for me. yes I have numlock on. The keys do nothing. Strange.]

and place the H@tKeysH@@k.DLL in your C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder, then try using the trainer again, just to let you know some anti virus's detect that DLL as a keylogger because it reads key's you press, it is perfectly safe, if you are worried you can download Trainer Making kit which should also install this DLL for you.

I already have TMK and the DLL in that directory.
I also have only one cube.exe process running.
On another note, I just tried to run Cube2/Sauerbraten and it was basically unplayable. This computer can play Battlefield2 fine, and plenty of other games I have played previously, but not Cube2. That is strange, since I previously played Cube2 before this computer got upgraded and it was okay.
I have just tried your jump hack for this game. It works, but the hotkey doesn't. I had to push the button, even though I have that DLL there already.
Also, F9 and most keys on the numpad are assigned to the editor so you might want to change those. When you push them it either does something in edit mode if you're in edit mode, or if you're not it puts a message in your chat area telling you the function's only available in edit mode.
[Update: Your unlimited ammo cheat on the trainer works, but nothing else does. I push 5 on the numpad and my ammo does not decrease but nothing else works.]
The jump hack trainer, however, starts making my ping rise as soon as I open it, even if I do not activate it. It makes my ping go from under 100 to over 1000, but goes down as soon as I close it.

I have just gotten another person to try out the hack and it does not work for him either.
I would just like to know how to find the health value, so you do not need to make a trainer for me.
You found it for Cube2, but I need to find it for Cube1. You don't have to find it for me. Could you tell me how you did it for Cube2 and I could try for Cube1?
