How do I cheat?

When chaging my score on this game do i first select firefox.exe and then play once and then get a score and type that in the hex and do exact value 4 bytes and then search and what if there are like 50 of the same but dif. code which one do i pick. And when I edit the value and play again when will my score change? Right away?
