well it depends on some things.
basiclly hacking with CE is illegal too, in the same way cursing some1 from ur class is illegal O.o its not like some1 will arrest u for PE... but its realy close to that limit. i think like PE is THE limit between legal hacks and illegal hacks, and PE its the worest u can do without getting arrested\paying money

Packet editing is very nice hack.. it can be done to games with no anti-cheats.. or low anti cheats Very Happy

Referring to what someone said about crashing the game servers:

Sometimes thats what you might want to do Wink using buffer overrun techniques.
Example: sending an insane amount of packets with the wrong size buffer will cause poorly written games to crash. Its fun when you do find a game with such an axploit though Very Happy

Ok not post here a lot, but I do know that the police or game making company wont send you and angry e-mail or letter filing a lawsuit about packet editing there servers, I mean they can do that but it depends on what the person is doing... so what give your self some money the game makers know there are people out there that do and will do it to there game but pffft, what do they care now?
