You go into the ins tab and turn the ATT to 0 HOLD to max DEC to 0 SUS to 0 and REL to 0. This will make whatever sound you're using weather it be 808 or open hat play for the full period of the note in piano roll. This is how I do my 808s. You'll want to turn off loop points. Make sure you also tune your 808 by right clicking the sample wave >EDIT>Regions>Detect pitch regions and it will tell you what key your sample is in. Then go back to where the INS tab and at the bottom right click on the key you just found as your sample key so that it will then play c when you play c in piano roll.
