|Summary||0000288: CE 6.3 - Scan for 'All' type to ingore N/A types|
|Description||Any chance to tweak a bit how the scan with Value Type = 'All' would work?|
I mean, if I enter a value that is surely "not applicable" for a certain type, then that type should not be scanned for.
"Not applicable" generally means the width necessary to store the entered value, and the presence of the decimal point in the entered value.
If I enter '1', all types are scanned for.
If I enter '1.', only floats and doubles (and custom types) are scanned for.
If I enter '1.1', only floats and doubles (and custom types) are scanned for.
If I enter '257', all types except 'Byte' are scanned for.
If I enter '65537', all types except 'Byte' and '2 bytes' are scanned for.
If I enter '65537.', only floats and doubles (and custom types) are scanned If If I enter '65537.1', only floats and doubles (and custom types) are scanned If And so on; I guess you get the idea.
Thank you for considering!

Alternatively, it could be a new scan type called "All that applies"; it might be better for those who are used to the way the 'All' scan works at the moment.
