Hi, I'm messing around with trying to find addresses to values that i can't change without also changing the address.
This takes the form of a pot which I can put two liquids and a "modifier" in.
The liquids are easy to find as I can just increment the liquid amount and scan for them, then pointerscan, rinse, repeat. However the modifier can only be added once per mixture.
I more or less know what the modifiers stats are (can be anywhere from +3/+3 to -3/-3) however since i can only add one modifier per mixture i need to reset the mixture to change the modifier, and changing the mixture gives all the ingredients a new address.
Admittedly I'm newish to cheat engine and have little to no knowledge of assembly, so I've been trying to find out what accesses the first two liquid addresses when I increment them. This unfortunately results in hundreds of addresses being accessed a second and quickly blossoms to tens of thousands of accessed addresses, however most of these addresses values are not anywhere near the value I'm looking for.
I'm wondering if there is a way to search/filter the list of accessed addresses? (although this is unlikely to help me find the specific access of adding the mixture modifier, I figured it still might be a nice thing to be able to do)
Additionally I would love any ideas on things I could try to find this modifiers address?
Cheers!
