|
|
This is a problem I haven't been able to figure out.
In the "Dissect Data Structures" tool, only one line shows as usable.
This is a "weapon targeted at" record / offset.
Multiple weapons at multiple locations ( variable ), for every in-game object.
One "target ID / shoot at" line per weapon.
I am guessing that means the offset will NOT remain constant.
( If I had somewhere on the net to store an image I would post a screenshot. Sorry. )
Sample Line :
Code: | -0208 String 59E43FE0 : UUU@ 59E3D9E0 : -Blank-
|
UUU@ is an AI targeting the Player
-Blank- is Player targeting an AI
The damage code is shared ( both Player and AI ) : Code: | Part 1
sub [ebx+000000D4],eax
Part 2
sub [esi+000000D4],eax
|
Can a string comparison be done?
Is it possible to set up a "variable / on-the-fly" offset?

Will try that conversion.
Will I have to make a list of "offsets" to perform compares on?
In other words, cover all possible "offsets"?
